Welcome to K9 Boots & Board - a trainer-led, luxury dog care service for owners who expect more than standard boarding or dog walking.

I’m Jodie, a licensed dog care professional with over 11 years of experience across animal rescue, veterinary care, boarding kennels, and animal health. Alongside me is my own dog, Herbert, my four-year-old Rottweiler and constant companion. Herbert is a wonderful ambassador for calm, balanced behaviour and has a gentle way of stealing the hearts of everyone he meets. He plays an important role in daily life at K9 Boots & Board, helping to create a settled, welcoming environment and providing appropriate social examples for visiting dogs when suitable. Dogs are not a side job for me — they are my profession. Every service I offer is rooted in behavioural understanding, calm leadership, and structured care.

I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, am Pet First Aid & CPR trained, and continually invest in advanced education in dog behaviour and training. I have recently completed an intensive six-month mentorship with Phoenix K9, further refining my practical training skills and professional handling standards.

K9 Boots & Board offers licensed home-from-home boarding, daycare, trainer-led walks, 1:1 training, and board & train programmes. I intentionally accept a small, carefully selected number of dogs at any one time to ensure a calm environment, personalised routines, and high-level care.

Dogs in my care enjoy daily structured outings through the Surrey Hills and surrounding woodland, alongside purposeful walks designed to support breed fulfilment, neutrality, and confidence. Secure private fields are used when required for training or dogs that cannot be off-lead.

Your dog is welcomed as part of the family, not a boarding number. Dogs in my care enjoy plenty of structured activity and enriching experiences, including long countryside walks or hikes, purposeful training-led outings, and time to explore safely and calmly. Every walk is designed to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation, helping dogs return home fulfilled and settled! Activity levels are carefully matched to each dog’s needs, ensuring each stay is tailored to each dog.
